Is Primetime worth a gamble?
« on: June 30, 2006, 03:21:13 PM »
I've been doing my reseach, searching through reviews and asking friends that have owned one.  To any users would this be a good read ball for a really wet-dry house condition?  I know this ball hates carrydown in OOB condition but something about particle pearl and a med r.g. core has me wanting to put my favorite drill on it and give it a good spanking.

The dull or polished one? The dull one was above average, I know a guy that LOVED his polished one.

That was a seriously underated ball, was very readable off the dry, above average hit to. I'd say give it a shot.

I had the Primetime sanded and that ball was very controllable. I never had a problem with that ball not finishing or hitting. I found that it was better for playing straighter though. Not a ball to go gutter to gutter but that's just me.

I have a primetime(polished original).  I don't use it much.  It gets overlooked in my arsenal. I tried using it in on league night 3 weeks ago and had trouble finding the pocket.  I guess its cause I am not use to its reaction anymore.

On league I start with my sanded predator pursuit on the 1st game and then finish with my power groove on games 2 and 3 and the primetime sort of gets lost in the mix.
