v2 Strong drilling
« on: November 24, 2007, 01:51:45 PM »
I Just got a v2 strong from my sister...

16# Pin is a little short only 1 - 2 inches.

Want this ball it be Very smooth and early rolling..

Usually I like to play 18 - 5 board on the
fresh with my Special Agent. (standing 35)

I am looking for something that I can play more up the outside with ..

My paradigm doesn't like the outside lines (back ends tend to make it Jumpy)

What would you guys Recommend?

Was thinking to go with a shorter pin, thinking 2 inches, pin - pap,

any other ideas?

With the given ball, I'd also go for a pin-under-finger drilling, swinging out the CG towards PAP and adding a balance hole to get it legal.

Another option could be a pin axis drilling - pin very close to the PAP plus a balance hole, too. This will the ultimate smooth rolling layout - the ball will more or less arc all the way down. Good option for spotty lanes, but not spectacular to watch

What about RICO?

Any thoughts on how that may work with this ball?

I still have a few days to decide, still waiting for him to plug it all up..
