That's sure interesting. It also said the price is going to be 15% cheaper and OOB finish will be 4000 grit instead of polished. I think 4000 grit is where most people got the best results, so Ebonite must've been keeping track of that. To me, it seems like a random re-release lol. Well.. I'm sure they'll make a lot of money off this one again, though.

Maybe they had enough calling for it, plenty of cores left and GB 10.7 is still in production. Hey, if Big B can bring the Inferno back why can't Ebonite do the same with one of its best sellers?

They have it on their website. Their intro is for The One.

I got the ball second hand, so I would like to get one NIB.

At least, it is the truth - and as long as you get it out without a loss of reaction, it is O.K.

A friend of mine was having money problems and I gave him my The One last year and it still hooks like new and it probably has over 150 games on it. But, it was wiped off before I rolled each shot and at the end of the night I cleaned it with Ebonite Powerhouse Energizer cleaner on the ball spinner! Maintenace is the key to long life of coverstocks. I love the fact that Ebonite brought back The One, it and the Angular Ones were/are my favorites! Bowl to Win, Bruce

I have to say that I never really experienced any significant drop in the performance of mine. I just wanted to try something new, so I traded it off. Sadly, though, that is the ball that rolled my lone sanctioned 300, so maybe I'll have to pick one up on the re-release.

This isn't a knock at all. It just seems Ebonite might be having the same troubles as Brunswick. They just haven't had a good solid cover release in a while.

Big B's last good ball was the Ultimate Inferno so they re-released that.

Ebonite's was definitely the One.

In my eyes....

Why discontinue them in the first place??
Companies keep trying to reinvent the wheel and it doesn't work sometimes...

I am sure the One and the UI will be good sellers for the loyal customers of those brands.

Well Beans, except for the Gamebreaker, I may have to agree with you about Ebonite and solid pieces that actually made an impact can't say they had any of note.
