Has Ebonite released any solids other than The One and the Gamebreaker? I cannot think of anything worth mentioning besides those two.

I wish they'd have switched up the colors - that color scheme never really appealed to me.....not that color is a huge deciding factor.

I say give it a new color scheme and call it "The One II."

YES!!!

I am now back to using an "up-to-date" ball.

Up until now, I have been using all DISCONTINUED Equipment.

FWIW, My Original ONE has well over 250 games on it.  It's still going strong.

That would be the Playmaker. The Gamebreaker is an updated V2 Solid and the Playmaker is an updated V2 Pearl.

the only thing they have in common is the the core V2 SOILD and V2 PEARL far better cover than that that junk 10.7 cover so if you put 10.7 cover on nitro R you have a one

We don't want an updated V2 Pearl....We want the original V2 Pearl, same core, same cover, same everything!!!!! Nuff said...

Yeah, you can check I'm one of the worst guys on here about complaining about Ebonite covers, but I've never had a problem with any of the balls from the One series losing any action on me. I don't have them anymore, but my wife still has hers and it still works great.

This isn't a knock at all. It just seems Ebonite might be having the same troubles as Brunswick. They just haven't had a good solid cover release in a while.

Big B's last good ball was the Ultimate Inferno so they re-released that.

Ebonite's was definitely the One.

In my eyes....

Why discontinue them in the first place??
Companies keep trying to reinvent the wheel and it doesn't work sometimes...

I am sure the One and the UI will be good sellers for the loyal customers of those brands.

EXACTLY my sentiments.... given all the "additional" boards each new release is suppose to give us .. most of us should be standing at 50 laying it down at 39 at the foul line and letting it break on the 3rd board.  But that's not what's happening, is it?

I would rather have the ball companies come out with coverstock that read better (for the condtion the ball was designed for), different break shapes.. etc.. the hook pissing (pardon my french) contest is getting .... or rather is already ridiculous..

Exactly why the original Black Widow is still available. That ball is THE ball of the last 2-3 years....and, no, I've never owned one so this is not a plug. Just a comment on one hot ball not being discontinued (unlike The One)
