While a review is in progress, some impressions from the local "testing range", my club house (8MB size, fast connection recommended):

Pattern is a 39' oil "tongue" from 12 to 12, 17 units of oil. Outsides are buffed to the gutter and also to 41' in length. The lane was freshly made.

The SR 300 does a nice job when played along the buffed zone - through the oil with a deeper shot, it needs either shorter oil or more revs than I can offer to recover. Even though the resolution is only 640x480, you might see how well the ball travels down the lane and delivers a late and sharp hook.

Besides, the film obviously reveals a loft problem, but since the last video in June this has improved.

i agree needs a little zooming
i noticed you dont slide at all??? still looks ver compsed and solid at line and very little effort put into it looks like that works for you

I like his game. I'm bored of seeing these crankers on these videos. It's nice to see a stroker for once. I got a perfect idea of what the ball does, sorry if you all can't see that.

diz--I'm not going to pic you apart.  Gawd knows we all have faults and at least you had the guts to put yourself up here.

There have been a lot of great bowlers that did not slide.  I would say next time in your video even though you started on board 26 you drifted right quite a bit say 20-21?  I would put that info. in your vid next time as that is what corresponds to how much hook is involved.  

You're working on it and I like that you can actually see the person in the vid...most are so dark you can't see nuttin'.  Good job.

Yes, bad thing is that I cannot zoom closer to the ball - the camera does not yield more and the tiny 640x480 resolution is the maximum I get with my PC. I guess I have to organize a better camera next time, since I'd also like to get a better look at my release hand and what I am doing wrong "there" - even though I fear that it is finally an upper body posture problem (too much waist bend) at the foul line that causes the undesired loft. Or, I just do not want to let the balls go... ah, it looks so horrible (but it works)!
