Title: Tornado Warning--Cracked?-Warranty?
Post by: Juggernaut on October 12, 2007, 01:32:20 PM
I bought a tornado warning about 6-8 months ago.  I used it quite a bit, but the center changed the shot and put out a lot heavier pattern.  I put it in the bedroom, out of the heat and cold, and left it there for about 2 months.

Now, the center has gone back to the lighter pattern because they were having too much ball return trouble. I went and got my tornado warning to put it back in my bag and it has about a 5 inch crack in it, starting at the middle finger hole.

What is the length of the warranty for Ebonite balls?  Yes, it has finger inserts, but the holes are well away from the pin.

I was just wondering what my chances are of getting this warranteed, anybody know?  ( not really wanting OPINIONS, just facts ).

The norm is 1 year.  Take it back to the shop where you bought it, it's likely they will honor the warranty.  Balls with inserts are replaced all the time.
