Ebonite Affinity Ball Review
« on: December 03, 2017, 10:23:26 AM »
Pin Length:  2” - 3”
Starting Top Weight:  3.0
Ball Weight: 15
Drilling #8 on the symmetrical drill instructions.  This put the pin above the fingers and an extra hole was drilled on the VAL on a line from the grip center through the CG
BOWLER STYLE:  RH - Stroker – slightly speed dominant
Rev Rate:  280
Ball Speed: 17-18
PAP/Track:  PAP:  4 11/16” and 7/8" up
Box Finish

The Affinity uses the same cover as the Gb2 Phenom Pearl, but has a higher RG and lower diff core.  Easy length is no problem for the Affinity.  It goes down the lane slightly longer than the Phenom Pearl, and it has a more angular change of direction with excellent hitting power. Bowlers who fight early hook would find this ball to be a good match up. I can pipe this ball up the outside and have a good time watching it destroy the pocket for all 3 games on normal league conditions. I’ve seen some high rev guys make this ball curve quite a bit. Definitely an excellent value in the mid-price range.

Buddies has this ball for $90 right now (15lb only looks like sadly).  If someone is looking for a left turn ball tough to beat at that price.

Often didn't know of what I spoke with this account (noob at time, not wise enough to shut up and listen) and too lazy to delete all the spam in the past and I am sorry. Take any advice from this account with a grain of salt. BowlingForDonuts is my new wiser quieter account.
