Title: V2 core = AMF Whip core?
Post by: AdrianS on March 04, 2004, 05:49:20 AM
Have a look on BBR.com and tell me what you think. The original R2 core looked like it had way smaller blocks to me. Plus Ebonite manufactured AMF balls back then too.

When the "whip" series was manufactured, ebonite was manufacturing A.M.F.'s stuff. A.M.F. did their own r&d, and the bullwhip was voted one of the best pearl balls out that year.

After the "whip" line was discontinued by A.M.F., ebonite came out with the original vortex 1, which was a pearl trimax cover with a weightblock almost identical to the bullwhip.

After adding the solid cover to it, and altering the densities to give lower rg numbers, ebonite had something A.M.F. didn't. A great ball that fit multiple styles and was versatile, not one dimensional like the "whips" had been.
