Title: Warrior (red) surface change
Post by: thedjs on July 29, 2016, 11:51:39 AM
This is a great ball but it's just a little too much skid/snap for my speed and game.  To mellow out the reaction should I hit it with an Abralon pad or just change the surface?  If so, what would be the best grit to start with?  I want to keep the ball strong but just tone down the back-end reaction.  Right now the proshop has added more polish and I haven't tried that yet.

Anyone else had this problem?

If you hit it with an abralon pad you are changing the surface. The easiest place to start is just by scuffing the ball by hand with a pad.

Are you talking about a 3-M pad?  Also, do you mean just break the surface?
