before you use it, take a 4000 grit abralon pad to it, that will take the polish off of it and make it a beast in the mids..

Practice with it a little. If it's not agressive enough for you,or isn't as consistent as you want, then, take a little polish off the surface.

I agree with those who have already posted. I have drilled one almost identical (5" pin to pap& 1.5" from val, mb 4" from val). This ball needs very little help getting length. I scuffed it with 4000 and got a midlane read. You may want to consider a little lower pin depending on your revs.

i dont want the ball to read to early, im not saying i want a midlane beast i want a little more length with it..i understand this isnt a skid/flip ball, and thats not what i want it to do, but i dont want it hooking 25-30 ft down lane either...

All we are trying to tell you is that the nature of this ball is to go long. A TNV with the same layout and surface as an Angular One will go longer and have more of its hook on the backend. If you have a specific ball/layout to compare it to I/we can try and help. As much as you dont want it to read early, you dont want it to spin into the pit, either. There are some guys with average to below average revs who have used the "Tommy Jones" drilling looking for length and gotten more length than they bargained for.

gotcha thanks...i have a good amount of revs when needed..all i am going by right now is what i have seen..i have seen the angular one go longer and the nv with the same drill..not to many total nvs my way though..but you are right, i dont want it skating through the pin deck either..i believe im going to put the pin up and play with the surface if needed like you said..
