To Ron Hickland

Ron,
You posted a topic about the angular one.  I saw a few photos of the ball it looks great.  I am wondering however when the release date is going to be.  I also would comment on color schemes.  Will ebonite ever go back to a bright orange or High visibility ball color scheme.  Reason I ask is almost every ball that has been produced lately is low visibility and looks like either a gametime, prime time, one, or something from a previous ball color.  I am just wondering?

Yes, I have a question as well. Ron told me the Angular One was to be released on 10/15, so I preordered one. Now, after speaking with Bowlingball.com about my order, I find that they are not being released until mid November. I am not happy about this descrepency. I would like someone to clear it up.

It is a conspiracy by union workers at Ebonite to piss you off for being so Anti-union.

Apparently, its working

I would like to know whats the deal with company's taking preorder before the ball is ever released.  What happens if it gets delayed.  Case in point here.

Cbjdc, It's not unusual to see balls being sold as pre orders. I have seen this plenty of times, but "usually" you are told of the ball being a pre order.

It is just a ploy by companies to take advantage of those that must have "the Latest, Greatest".  I prefer to see a ball in action before I'll consider buying it, but that's just my preference.  What happens if it is delayed is that you have to wait a little longer before you get it.

But Ron told me October 15th release date. Now, AFTER I place my pre-order, I see they bumped it to 11/15. I'm going to cancel my order.

To answer Cb's original question about the Orange color. I believe alot of companies are trying to stay away from the bright bold colors now because they don't really sell all that well to the public. Yea it stands out and everyone knows what it is, but from what I have seen and heard in the past they do not sell all that well. Now overseas gets the crazy colored bowling balls because they do like those colors!

GT, that sucks about the preorder. I have seen that happen so many times before in the past. What is really stupid is that any online store ie, bowlingball.com, bowlersparadise, etc... would do a preorder time period! That is just asking for trouble!! Well hope you get it gets clarified sometime soon for you!

It does thanks Ron.  Just would like to see a killer instinct color scheme on the next one.
