NVD discontinued?

Someone who I trust is either yanking my chain or this is the shortest run since Track made the Phoenix, which never rose from its own ashes.

I am sure no one can corroborate this. At least I hope not.

And if you don't know one way or the other, please don't tell me how improbable or unlikely it is. I know that. That why I phrased it this way. Control yourselves. I don't post April Fools' day jokes.

I got confirmation from john gaines, the southeast rep, he said its still in production

It was just included in today's Ebonite Demo Day here locally.  Not many people were throwing the NVD though.  Most seemed to like the Pin Slasher more than the other 4 offered.

The Northeast Ebonite Rep. told me last weekend that the sales for this ball were not what they were hoping for so production has stopped. They are going to get rid of there inventory and move on to the next high performance release that will be out Nov. 14. So I would expect it to go on clearence in the next month and be discontiued on the Ebonite website within the next 2 months. It's a sad day for Ebonite fans, best ball in the seriers and it only got 5 months of shelf time. When I talked to Patrick Allen and Matt O'Grady last weeken they were not too happy about it at all as they both love this ball.

The ball has been taken off the phony ebonite " minimum wholesale price list" which means it can be sold for however cheap as anyone wants, when they do this it is to blow them out because they are dead product. I'm sure shops that bought into this ball will be thrilled when people can buy them online for 100$ shipped soon.
