Some place showed on FB, I can't remember the store. Had Two red missions by two different customers.

Just opened mine and..............black oh well was really excited to open it then a major let down love the idea though

Ive got two coming in tomorrow. I want a black one to use, preferred color, and a red or gold to sell.

I played the lottery and ordered 3 of them for my shop. Received 2 black and 1 red. I know a C300 staffer that's killing it with that ball and it looks really good.

Waiting for mine to get in. and to be honest, I'm hoping for Black. From what I've heard from my PSO, Black is supposed to be the better of the three balls, albeit slightly, due to the pigmentation in Red and Gold.
That being said, if I did get gold, I would definitely punch up Black. And IMHO, I think the big loser in this is Red; If you get the other two colours, you're guaranteed Black. Red leaves you one out.

Had an opening party tonight at My Bowl. Beer, Pop, Pizza. Pre sold 17.
Had an unbelievable 3 Red in a row and a fourth as well. Still have 3 in 14lbs and 2 in 15lbs. No Gold yet. My supplier also has a Distributor in Denver, Gold Box opened today.

I would have better luck winning the Mega Million with those odds LMAO. By my calculations its 80 gold balls out there. Subtract the ones that people already has open. Subtract the ones that are on ebay that has not been opened and selling for 200.00+. I have to give it to Ebonite. That is one hell of an idea. I wonder if every other company is going to do this.

Retail purchases that's close to the number (without drilling), but Ebonite isn't making nearly that much on them.

Considering places like Buddies and most distributors are selling the Unknowns for roughly $140 shipped, distributors are making a profit (figure $10 per ball shipping charges) puts the price at around $130 a distributor is getting. Distributors are making $20? $30? a ball...meaning Ebo is selling to the distributor for around $100 per ball. Subtract shipping expenses to get the balls to the distributors, marketing costs, 2 boxes to pack each ball in, actual cost of each ball to make, etc, Ebonite may gross $800,000 ($100 per ball x 8000 balls) but I bet they net at best 50% of that number....maybe.
The true gold in this promotion is all the free advertising which will enable to company to promote future products, especially if the Unknown turns out to be a good ball for those who purchase one.

The ball is a great piece. The only correct figure I see is e-tailers are getting$134.95 a ball.
That is Ebonite's minimum pricing.
