what to expect from the OVERTIME
« on: December 29, 2005, 03:36:14 AM »
My specs in the profile and im a full roller...not sure how imma lay out the ball any suggestions? Looking for it to fit the medium-medium/heavy category for when my big deal starts to overreact

See my profile for stats and pic for layout:

What to expect, surprising length, consistent mid-lane read, and a non-stop arc to the pins. Works good for me when I can give a little room. (Think 15-8). Ball is better on fresh patterns where I have to square up (think up 10 or thereabouts). The Overtime probably wont handle true heavy, but 80% of us never see that anyway. Im sure with the right speed and revrate you could get it wrinkle on heavier patterns. Overall a good-ball for the thicker side of medium or juicy heads with clean backends, blends the pattern better in my opinion.

so what layout should i use i want it to not pick up early roll, but probably in the midline, and make a hard turn on the backend.

Yes it is, however with the ball being dull and ebonite starts up naturally early for my game I didnt want it to roll too early and hit flat. Ive had several ebonite solids and pin down on them just dont work unless I shine them to the hilt.
