I saw him use all brunswick Equipment on the show yesterday.

Did he leave Ebonite or did they leave him? Perhaps being a free-agent will work out better. He can use whatever equipment might work better on a particular surface or condition. It worked pretty damn well for WRW last yr.

Let's not get WRW and Hurd mixed up...okay!!!

Oh - I hear ya, and I was by no means comparing WRW and Hurd. I just meant that being able to use "any" equipment was not necessarily a bad thing. The best thing about being on staff is getting the balls for free and advice from working closely from the reps, however, Hurd might benefit from different equipment (and advice).

maybe because he's no longer wanted by ebonite. They tend to do that to people. (WALTER RAY!!!)

You have to assume that they didn't renew his contract.
Compared to the other guys on the Ebonite staff (Couch, Kent, Koivuniemi, Jones), Hurd really hasn't done anything to earn his keep. His only title is a doubles title with somebody by the name of Petraglia, and the few times he's made the show recently, he's performed poorly.
I would have been surprised to see him wearing an Ebonite shirt on the show yesterday. It was the first thing I looked for.

I think Lonnie Waliczek is a free agent.By
watching his first couple of appearances, he
used both Brunswick and Ebonite. During last year's
season he won with both balls using the X-zone and
V2 Solid.
