Maybe try an Ebonite...
« on: August 20, 2005, 06:18:32 AM »
...Well my last Ebonite ball was the TPC Warrior, and after that I switched to nothing but Storm. Now I am thinking of trying something else besides Storm, just to try out...so I figured I might try Ebonite again. I like my stuff to go long and then snap, so what might be a good Ebonite ball for that? Thank you.

The Big Time pearl would be great for that or you could get get that same type reaction form a Big Time solid if you polished it up some..

Can't go wrong with a V2 Sweet or Nitro R/2.  Both are great benchmark balls.  The V2 Power looks very good too.

V2 Power is the ball you want.

Might want to try the Puma Classic also. Threw the Nitro last week at a demo and loved it.

No doubt, xxcel with a little polish.  Nothing comes harder on the end!!

My vote goes to the V2 Power as well.

Big Time Pearl drilled with Pin under the ring finger and CG out will get you what you want. jkiser01 can attest what this ball does as he has seen mine and it is a very angularly aggressive snap which is exactly what you want. I have thrown the V2 Power and the xxcel(s) and they do not compare to the Big Time Pearl. Also, for what you would save by purchasing the BTP, you could put the savings towards the original Big Time WHEN (and I mean WHEN) you like this ball.

I'd suggest you take a look at the V2 Power, Puma or Big Time Pearl.
I put a little extender polish on one of my Xcel Particles and it gave me length and a hard snap, just wanted to see what would happen.

I agree... Xcel Particle goes long and snap at the break point.
