Designed to compliment the popular Green Alien, Elite has taken its technology of bowling balls to the next level. Elite is proud to introduce - The Blue Alien! The Blue Alien combines a version of our Atomic Core with a solid Solar Eclipse Coverstock featuring T.C.T. What is T.C.T.? Thermal Contact Technology allows the ball to read the proper amount of friction on the lane and in the oil pattern, eliminating the dreaded "over/under" ball reaction. The end result… more forgiveness!
The new Blue Alien with its Solar Eclipse Coverstock reads the mid lane sooner then the Green Alien…giving you incredible hooking power on the heavier oil conditions.

I purchased this ball because I wanted a non-particle ball that could turn on heavy oil. It didn't hook nearly as strong as I had hoped, but the Blue Alien did hook evenly and smoothly, and it hits pretty good.

I can't recommend this ball at the listed price. If you can pick one up for a price similar to what other manufacturers charge for their top-end balls, then I'd say go for it. Otherwise pass on this ball. It doesn't perform well enough to justify the cost.

See video

It's all fun and games until someone gets hurt...then it's hilarious!

This is the last time I will attempt to post this(3rd).

My friend, who averages 209, uses this as his spare ball. He is not impressed with it at all!

I have had my Blue Alien for over a year now and decided I should finally post my review.

At first I have to say I didn't like the ball all that much. In its box condition (600 grit) it burned up way to quickly for me.  I was only able to use it once sanded with good success in a local tournament.  At the beginning of last season I had it polished and wow did that make a world of difference. It was no longer was burning up at the halfway point and I have been able to put up some big games with it.  This year I bowled my first 300 using the Blue Alien and have had 2 279's to the collection with it.  On my Friday night league it is the first ball out the bag and I can usually use it for the night as long as there isn't a lot of traffic burning up my area.  It is the only Elite product I own and it was bought last year during that Alien vs special.

I have had this ball for about 1 month now and it flat out destroys pins. After shooting 276 my first game with this ball, it has become my primary ball. It is awesome on oil, but i have been able to use it on medium conditions too.

I want to thank mr257 for selling this ball to me. And I want to thank Sue at Thruway Lanes in Buffalo,NY  for doing the plug work.

I have it drilled for nothing but hook and it does that very well I can play 15 to 5 or 25 to 5 and score well. I recommend this ball to anyone who can handle the power of an Elite Ball.

I used the Jupiter drilling for this ball and before I rolled the ball one game I had it polished as much as possible! This is not a ball to use out of the box at 600 grit for me. By the way, I am one of the few who has this ball in the 16 lb. weight. Most sites and dealers sell the 15 and under. I do not believe you can purchase a 16 pounder to date.

First game was a 277, second 235, third 234. Very consistent on 39 ft. league pattern. The ball does NOT HOOK like described in the brochure. I cannot believe it even comes close to hooking as much as they describe on the web site. It just doesn’t have the guts. This is a ball for people in my opinion with a good understanding of changing lane conditions and when and where to throw the ball. I have played up the gut on the 2 board, deep inside left of 20 ten boards and have had nothing but good results. I have also used it on all five PBA patterns and it is a very versatile ball if one can control your speed and hand control.

One of my favorite weapons when the lanes get tough. I have over 50 balls in my arsenal and this ball would rate somewhere in the top ten.

I have this ball for two weeks. I am a very strong cranker I have it drilled with the Jupiter drilling pattern, and it works like a piece of heavy machinery. This thing does nothing but absolutely destroy the pins. I have been using it during my high school bowling matches and have shot a 640 and a 680 with it. This past weekend during the Saturday morning youth league I shot my second 700 series. One was with a Big Bully and this one was with the Alien. 289, 245, and a 213 with this ball for a 747 is awesome...I cannot stress how much a MUST HAVE this ball is. Anyone that is looking for a great ball which has a consistent roll should definitely grab this one.
Keep ya head up and don''t let nobody get you down...because that road you travel will turn around.
