Title: PBA Chameleon - which Brunswick cover?
Post by: dizzyfugu on July 07, 2010, 05:45:58 PM
Hi, does anybody know which Brunswick coverstock is/was used on Elite's PBA Chameleon ball?

I want to say PowerKoil 18 but I'm not certain.

Thank you, Jared. Would be my first guess, too, but since the ball was advertised as "suited for outside lines", coupled with a mid RG/mid Rg diff ball, I am afraid that it might carry an N'Control family cover? And I am not sure if Elite already received Activator at that time - which would also be a plausible option?

Once again, I'm not certain on this. But it was my understanding at the time that this ball was released, the PBA series were basically all PK covers, either 17 or 18. I'm not aware of the use of N'Control. If so I'd probably be on the Cheetah or Viper balls at the most

Hmmm, PK 18 would be nice, esp. with that core. I have the hand on a NIB specimen, but it is very hard to judge the ball's potential...
