  • Former good bowler, now 3 games a week house hack.
This forum used to get a little activity, but the last thing posted here was in 2014, and only one post that entire year, with nothing at all this year.

Have they finally become just a footnote in bowling history?

I think that there are those that still will purchase them and use them, but not the new group of bowlers that are the majority of members here and what is now considered the mainstream bowling participants. The balls are old, not flashy, and have no advertisements because the Fab brand has been dead for 15 years. So the old Fabs that are still available are getting more expensive because of supply and demand, and who wants to spend $XXX on  a ball that is very condition specific and is more expensive than the flashy 2 or 3 color glow in the dark ball?

Still an important part of bowling history, but you are right Juggs, the Fab brand is becoming a footnote.

For all practical purposes, you have just documented their current significance to the people who frequent this web site.

It exist along with others that are no longer available. Need an archive section at this point.
…… you can't  add a physics term to a bowling term and expect it to mean something.
