Question on a NIB Norm Duke Hammer
« on: October 24, 2011, 12:04:11 PM »
I just scored this on eBay.  It doesn't have the famous grenade core,  but has a lightbulb core with the same hammerthane reactive cover that  was on the Novas.

This is definitely a dry lane/spare ball.  Right now I alternate between  my Faball Pink and Blue Hammers for that.  They are both second drills  and I've been slowly getting rid of all that in my arsenal.  This could  be a replacement for both of them.

I'm also thinking this could replace my Teal Rhino Pro, which is a great ball to play right down the outside just like Duke's line.  Like this ball, it also has a lightbulb core with a weak reactive cover.

So here's the big question:  Do I drill it or keep it and get Duke to sign it?  I could have it as a memento of my favorite bowler.
