WTB - laptop
« on: November 02, 2004, 10:03:18 AM »
Anyone have a laptop computer they want to sell?  Not looking for anything high end, just something I can use to surf the net and watch movies.  If not, know of any reliable web sites that sell new or refurbished laptops at good prices?  Right now the big boys don't have any good deals.

I have bought three older IBM laptops off Ebay. I haven't had any problems with the purchases or the computers. I do try to buy from reputable dealers. I also ascertain if there are any warranties.

I had a mail order offer from Dell that was almost too good to pass up. All of the major manufacturers sell used/refurbished computers on their websites.

Thanks guys.  I haven't been out to the local stores yet.  I looked at Dell and Gateway's stores, including the refurbished, but nothing stood out.  I've never been a big Ebay guy.  Too much stuff to sort through.  Not bad if you have a lot of time, but that's a luxury I don't have right now.
