Though it looks OK, a machine made plastic scale is more accurate than wood that swells/shrinks depending on the humidity.

nice "cheap" alternative for those that are NOT in the pro shop business and just want to measure existing layouts.  Of course it doesn't compare to the Pro-Sect with the degree markings for dual angle layouts.  Also the "ruler" appears to only have half inch markings, so accuracy is limited unless you add your own 1/4" and 1/8" markings.  Even then accuracy is just "close".
