FS/FT: Black Widow Pearl....5 FRAMES ON IT !
« on: July 23, 2007, 05:36:57 PM »
***SOLD!***

Yes thats right only 5 frames on it !

This ball is just way stronger then what I was expecting, even with the long pin to PAP drilling I have on it. So rather then plug it, I'd rather sell it while its still mint

-15lb, single drill
-No inserts, but has a slug
-Drilled pin under middle, MB strong
-Span is 4 3/8
-Small weight hole in thumb quadrant
-Cover is MINT, with only 5 frames on it

Just a bit of advice, longer pins from PAP just store energy down lane. The MB in a strong spot is what makes the ball hook so much overall.. If you wanted something more mild, should of kept the MB closer to your thumb or track with no extra hole

Thanks George but my understanding is pin distance controls flare (hook).

I didnt wanna a MB under the thumb on this, as that would be killing the ball per-say and I for sure didnt wanna drill it label.

I figured a weak pin position with a 4000 + polish I would have some length....Well with this ball it goes about 43 feet and turns left..lol

Anytime you put the pin further than your axis.. say your axis is 5 1/2 and you put the pin at 6 across. It is going to make the ball get down the lane.

Also you talk about polishing the ball, polish is another fact as to why this ball is so skid/snap for you. The more you polish a ball, the more again it delays the reaction pushing it further down lane.

If you did this with the solid version of this ball, you would probably have a little better success.

Just my opinion.
