Elevating an already exceptional lineage is a formidable task, yet they've achieved it once again with the revolutionary Hammer Black Widow 3.0 bowling ball. Building on the immense success of its predecessors, each Black Widow release has consistently pushed the boundaries of ball reaction, and the Black Widow 3.0 continues this trend of excellence. Designed as a perfect companion to the Widow 2.0 Hybrid, the Black Widow 3.0 boasts enhanced surface and tractions in oil, positioning it as the ideal go-to ball at the beginning of your game. Distinguished by its solid reactive composition, akin to the Black Widow 2.0, the 3.0 version introduces an upgraded cover featuring a solid iteration of HK22, maintaining the same out-of-the-box surface as its predecessor. The incorporation of HK22 provides the Black Widow 3.0 with a distinct advantage on medium to oily lanes, ensuring superior performance. Hammer enthusiasts will be thrilled to discover that the ball retains the iconic black and orange colors synonymous with the traditional Hammer aesthetic. Boy did Hammer get this one right with another addition to an incredible line with the Black Widows. The Black Widow 3.0 has the backend reaction that you may not have in the 2.0. Is it the Gas Mask Core? Is it the HK22? You should get yours and see for yourself! I drilled mine slightly earlier and stronger than I typically drill my equipment, (50 x 5 x 20), and my favorite pin down layout, and both bowling balls do not disappoint! The midlane read and backend reaction for both bowling balls are strong and continuous through the pins. Don't wait on this ball! As we head into tournament season, this ball is a must have in your bag!

Ball: Hammer Black Widow 3.0
Coverstock: HK22 - Aggression Solid
Core: Gas Mask
Factory Finish: 500, 1000, 2000
Layout: 50 x 5 x 30

The Black Widow 3.0 does not disappoint. From its shelf appeal to the ball reaction, it is wow factor. Out of the box, everyone commented on how early and smooth the 3.0 was on the lane. It struck quite a bit. Then, as it lane shined, it became longer and a lot more angular. It still strikes quite a bit. So much so that I have not touched the surface. The 3.0 is a great compliment to the Widow 2.0 Hybrid for times where you need something with a bit more teeth in the oil.

You can’t go wrong with the Widow series. The 3.0 is no different.

I’m a huge fan of the Widow line and the 3.0 does not disappoint. This is a benchmark to stronger benchmark type ball that can be used on a variety of lane conditions and it has a lot of shape down lane for me for a solid ball. Most stronger solids burn up on me on medium oil and I can only throw them on heavy volume. The Widow 3.0 retains energy and shape even if it’s not sport pattern kind of volumes. Out of the box the comments were on how early and smooth the 3.0 was on the lane. It struck quite a bit. As it lane shined it became longer and a lot more angular but still strikes quite a bit. The 3.0 is a great compliment to the Widow 2.0 Hybrid for times where you need something with a bit more teeth in the oil.
