The Black Widow ball nameplate is one of the most successful of all time. The Hammer Black Widow 2.0 Hybrid upper-mid performance bowling ball continues that success as a ball that wasn't created to replace any of the current Black Widow balls but to complement them. This ball features the HK22 bas resin with the Aggression Hybrid additive package and is paired with the notorious Gas Mask core. This combination creates an aggressive reaction further down the lane than the Black Widow Ghost ball on medium to heavy oil conditions.

COMMENTS

Likes: A perfect complement to the original Widow 2.0.  However, with my layout I used - this ball out of the box was not as early as I wanted and not as strong as I wanted.   It hooked down lane, but when I moved in on my centers pattern – the ball seemed wiggly.   I decided to hit it with a 2000 abralon pad and leave it at the finish.  WOW! This ball is a beast now and really fits as my 1-2 punch with the original Widow 2.0 .  Smooth and even and strong down lane motion when moving inside as the lane transitions.    Don’t sleep on this ball!!!!

Hammer's latest and great that is a home run, touchdown, slam dunk, and everything else you can think of! If you loved the Defender Hybrid, this is another must! Might be the way I drilled it, but I feel this is a step up from the Defender Hybrid. The Black Widow 2.0 Hybrid loves FRICTION!!! I have used this on 47ft Statue of Liberty and 43ft Earl Anthony Patterns and It has yet to disappoint! Hammer and the Brunswick Family is on fire!!

I love the new Widow 2.0.  This is one of the best Widows I have thrown in years. This balls is strong and very continuous.  The ball Carrie’s well keeping the pins low.  A must have for anyone’s bag.

Likes: If you were a fan of the Black Widow Ghost then this needs to be your next ball. The Hybrid allows me to play the same line as I do with the ghost but gives me an earlier reaction and a little more pop off the spot. The HK22 cover basically took the ghost and added some teeth. It will quickly become a staple in your bag.

Likes: This is one of the best releases ever of the Black Widow line.  It compliments the 2.0 perfectly.  Very much like the Black Widow Ghost, but for me gets downlane a bit further with more pop in the back.  It often reminds me of the original Black Widow Pearl but twice as good.  This ball is a must for your arsenal!!

First, let me just say wow. This ball is amazing. The hype over this ball is worth it. Drilled 45X4X35. This ball allows me to play any line I can imagine. I can slow down and open the lane up and still rely on the continuation of the hk22 cover stock mixed with the amazing core to get the ball back to the pocket. I can play straight up, throwing with more speed, and still kick the corner pins right out. If you are looking for the perfect High-Performance ball, this is the one to take the field.

The Black Widow 2.0 Hybrid is very angular. Great when my other high-end balls quit hitting. This ball has never stopped on the backend for me.
