Title: Purple Solid Reactive
Post by: BallReviews-scodaddy21 on February 10, 2023, 09:43:48 AM
The Hammer Purple Solid Reactive was just an experiment that turned out remarkable. This mid-performance bowling ball uses the same core as the highly successful and popular Hammer Purple Pearl Urethane but pairs it with a solid reactive coverstock. The high RG and low diff LED core has different numbers due to the density of the reactive cover. This difference results in more flare which creates a more powerful and angular backend motion. This ball is a great match for a bowler wanting something stronger than urethane or for high-rev bowlers looking for a ball to perform well on a variety of lane conditions.

The Hammer Purple Reactive has a very predictable ball motion that certainly gets through the oil very well. I have found this ball to be very useful on challenge/sport shots. It does very well in reading the lane and not over reactive off the friction. I drilled my Purple Reactive pin down and is still responds well off the friction. If drilled pin-up, I feel this could be a good benchmark ball for tournament play.
