This ball is something that I haven't seen from a Hammer ball in a long time.

Super clean through the front part of the lane and then take off at the end of the pattern.  It is a very controllable 'skid/flip' ball that I have found myself using quite a bit in league all of the sudden.

The shelf appeal alone will help this ball sell, but bowlers will be amazed and how clean this ball is but still packs quite a punch down lane.

High Rev players will find themselves using this ball quite a bit, I think!

LANE CONDITION

Length:39 ft, 41 ft

Volume:

Type (THS, Sport Pattern etc):2016 USBC Open Champ and THS

COMMENTS

Likes:This ball gives a motion that I haven't seen in the Hammer line in awhile. I drilled my rebel with a 50 x 5 x 65 layout which put the pin right under my bridge. I was shocked by how clean this ball is in the fronts and gives a controllable skip/flip reaction. This ball will be getting a lot of use during league play and THS tourneys!!

Dislikes:None so far.

The RebeL is a special motion that we have not had in the Hammer brand for a long time. The symmetrical weight block helps revs up in the midlanes, which then provides a controllable skid/flip ball motion. I know that is hard to read with both motions in the same sentence, but this ball definitely provides a very clean through the fronts with a great ball motion in the backends for various medium lane patterns. It fits perfect between the Viral & Arson High Flare Solid… For a shiny ball, this ball can handle the medium lane patterns amazing without having over/under issues… This is definitely gonna be in my bag for future tournaments for sure! I have had a few different styles of bowlers throw this ball and all 3 have been impressed with the ball motion that saw.

This ball comes with Hammer’s 3 year warrantee which provides the BEST value for your $$$!

I think the new RebeL will be a great ball for the typical medium lane patterns that offers a clean motion through the fronts with a controllable ball motion off the spot down the lane. This is a favorite ball for the Ebonite International National Staffers as well as many of the amateur pros!

A very versatile ball… You will be impressed!

Hey Y'all... Stefanie Johnson here... all I can say about this ball is that it's a MUST HAVE if you are looking for a ball that stores energy in the mid lane and has enough left to have a predictable flippy motion down lane. YES predictable flippy motion... I said it!  I wasn't expecting this reaction from a symmetrical core but it's very predictable and that's exactly what I like.

I recently used it at our PWBA stop in Florida (40' pattern) and it allowed me to play the lanes more left-to-right and open up my angles. A great addition to your arsenal - something exciting for the Hammer brand!

COMMENTS
Likes: The first recent Hammer ball that is upper level and is a pearl.  This ball stores energy through the fronts and releases it in a strong flippy backend.   However, don't get me wrong - It's still pretty strong and does not give up angle upon entry in the pocket just because its a flippy ball.  It packs a lot of traction and power through the pocket.   It allows you to open up angles on medium to heavy patterns.

Dislikes: While you could just keep moving left and going coast to coast as the lane breaks down - you should ball down and maybe jump into a Viral Hybrid. The ball definitely likes oil.

Layout:
5 x 5  PIN over bridge. No extra hole.
BOX Specs: 2-3" pin, 2.75oz

Review:
This pearl cover provides length, late-midlane, and a back end reaction that's unique. The move off the breakpoint is actually somewhat snappy for a symmetric ball. The ball stores energy quite well. I see myself using this ball on medium patterns somewhere in the 37' to 40' range or when there's a good amount of friction outside. It only read early when trying to force it up the dry. Certainly a bad idea to do with any shiny ball. This is another fantastic piece here.

Type (THS, Sport Pattern etc):THS plus others

COMMENTS:  Rebel provides a controllable skid/flip with the perfect 500/1000 grit NBT Pearl cover finished off with Powerhouse Factory finish.

Likes: Love this ball on a THS because of its ease through the heads and the controllable skid/flip.  Perfect ball to move in a bit and play that strong backend reaction of a THS and later games in tournaments.

Dislikes:
Heavy oil: this will not be the typical ball of choice.
