Redemption is a beautiful thing and even better when we are talking about a high performance Hammer bowling ball. The Hammer Redemption Pearl ball moves through the heads easily and has an angular backend reaction. With the combination of the Redemption core and the Aggression NE Pearl coverstock this ball goes long and finishes strong. This bowling ball utilizes DOT and is Carbon Fiber Infused! DOT allows you to drill anywhere on the ball and offers toughness to the ball. Carbon fiber is one of the toughest materials on earth. Hammer decided to add this material to the outer core of this ball for added strength and durability allowing them to offer an incredible 2 year warranty.

COMMENTS

Likes:  This is the first higher end pearl ball from Brunswick in the Hammer line.  The name along with its counterpart is appropriately called The Redemption Pearl.   Such an interesting piece in that its much like my Hammer Rip'd Hybrid and My Hammer Statement Pearl however, this piece seems to be a little more even rolling.  It has the roll of the Rip'd Hybrid and the angularity of the Statement Pearl.  Very much a keeper in the bag.  I love Asymmetric pearl balls but sometimes they get a little flat downlane for me - this ball does not do any of that.  Usable from game 1 to game 3 however I must say on the fresh - I liked the Solid a little bit more and then transitioned to the pearl and kept my angles open.  From there, I ruled the boards with no fear of "Hook-Stop" - the ball kept coming!

Add the DOT technology and wow - drillable from any angle you wish.

Bravo and get this ball and the Solid.

COMMENTS

Excited to throw the 1st Hammer balls by Brunswick - Redemption Solid & Redemption Pearl. The Redemption Pearl is a very versatile pearlized ball that I have used on a variety of lane patterns and quite happy with the motion that I see. Very clean through the front end and offers a strong backend motion off the spot for the heavier medium lane patterns. The Redemption Pearl allows me to open up the lane when the Redemption Solid is too much or rolling too early. Great compliment for both Redemption balls. With the lack of oil where I bowl in South Florida, I have used the Redemption Pearl more often on the fresh and gives me the ability to move into the lane when the patterns break down a little bit. Very impressed with the motion that I seen with this ball for a lot of various styles of bowlers. You will be impressed with the new Hammer Redemption Pearl and will love the strong backend motion that it provides. Get yours today!

LANE CONDITION TYS

Length: 42

Volume: 24ML

Type (THS

Switched to this in a practice after league, shot 300 that night with the Redemption Solid playing 15 to 5. Had to move 8 boards and control the front end more but ball still carried and kept the pins low. After 3 games Only moved 5 and 3 and continued. GREAT COMPLIMENT TO THE SOLID, Just know your equipment and you too will make the correct guess on the move!!

Hammer Redemption Pearl

Drilled 65° x 4.5 x 50°

Being that this is the first Hammer ball in quite some time, I went with my favorite layout to get a true look at it. From first impressions, the Aggression NE Pearl cover and Redemption core is stronger than I expected. The Redemption Pearl navigated the heavier oil and strong arc off the backend. Moving to a house shot I saw very similar reaction to what I saw on the flatter sport pattern. The Redemption Pearl seemed to get down the lane well but blended the pattern and made a strong arc. I was very pleased with the reaction and versatility of the Redemption Pearl. I haven’t drilled the Redemption Solid yet, but I could see it complimenting it very well. The Redemption Pearl has been a great step down from my similarly drilled Track Proof and my DV8 Intimidator. When those two become too much, or start to bog down, the Redemption Pearl gives me cleaner through the heads with a reaction shape that isn’t too quick. Overall I am really glad I added this ball to the bag.

COMMENTS

The Redemption Pearl is a very good complement to the Redemption Solid.  The pearl provides a little more length through the front, while maintaining energy and provide a smooth flip motion on the backend.  If you have the Redemption Solid and need a transition ball, the Redemption Pearl is the ball for it

LANE CONDITION

Length: Medium-Long

Volume: Medium-High

Type (THS, Sport Pattern etc): Any

COMMENTS

Likes: If you want the Redemption Solid shape but it’s just too strong, and the Redemption Hybrid isn’t quite giving you enough angle, then this piece will give you exactly what you need. Clean through the front, strong in the mid-lane, continuous through the backend. Perfect for hooking the lane on high friction surfaces.

Dislikes: None

The Redemption Pearl is an excellent 1-2 punch with the Redemption Solid. For me, this ball is a little more skid flip down lane and allows me to play angles that the solid won’t. It also allows me to continue on the same line once the solid becomes overly aggressive because it has a very predictable down lane motion. I highly recommend this for any tournament bag.

If you’re looking for a skid flip, high performance, polished asymmetrical option, you’re going to want to take a peek at the Hammer Redemption Pearl. The Hammer Redemption Pearl is a dual-release with the Redemption Solid from Hammer. Both balls are the first High Performance releases from Hammer under the Brands of Brunswick manufacturing plant. These feature a NEW high mass bias asymmetric core, DOT technology, the same carbon fiber infused core, and the Redemption Pearl is a very good looking bowling ball as well being black, blue, and gold in color.

I used a slightly different drilling on this ball in comparison to my Redemption Solid. WIth weight holes no longer allowed, I used a variation of what I generally use as my pin down layouts, using dual angle method it is 60 x 4.5 x 55 and if you’re to convert it to vectors it is 4.5” x 5” x 3.5” this puts the DOT in my ring finger and the mass bias is pretty close to the thumb hole. Being a pearlized bowling ball, there is an additive to the coverstock to modify it. Hammer’s intent is for this to compliment the Redemption Solid once the oil starts to come off the lanes and they transition. For me, the pearl additive actually helps read the midlane well like the Redemption Solid. This bowling ball for me isn’t as angular as I was thinking, but I am beyond impressed with how predictable the motion is. This ball is my go-to when I am bowling on pretty wet/dry and “cliffed” patterns.

Giving more length, smoother backend, and not sacrificing mid lane read the Redemption Pearl is an amazing compliment to the Redemption Solid. This ball is also a great option when you need more flare and a “bigger footprint” than a symmetrical bowling ball like the fugitive pearl. I was expecting a little more angular motion out of the box, but I was not disappointed with the predictability and performance I got out of this release. If you were a fan of the Statement Pearl from when Hammer bowling balls were poured in Hopkinsville, this ball will be very similar with a little more performance!
