Has the Diesel core, but a modified power ring around the top of the core with half high density weight, and the other half is low density to create a LMB (Low Mass Bias) for this ball.  It has a low LMB rating, so it can be mapped out just like the regular lay-outs.  It has the Power Whip cover just like the Vicious Attack, and comes in a Black/Royal Blue color.  Available weights 12-16.

I drilled this up as soon as they arrived.

I laid the ball out with the pin 4 3/4" and the CG 3 3/4" for my Positive Axis Point (PAP), and the LMB 4 1/2" for my PAP.

I went over the ball out of the box with a Grey Scote Brite to smooth down the cut lines in the ball.

I tried this ball on a light oil tournament shot and I was swinging the ball from 20 to 5 and the ball was running high every shot. I put it away.

I tried this ball out on a sport shot that was medium-heavy oil to 38 feet buffed to 42. I was able to stand 22 and play 15 to 12 with the Turbo Diesel and it had great power at the pocket.

With the Modified Block on the top of the core gives this ball more power at the breakpoint but still has that hard arcing motion like all the other Diesels.

In its dull state, the Turbo Diesel comes close to the Vicious Attack for overall brute POWER but what I liked about the Turbo is when you have it shined up.  On a fresh condition with your normal booming backends, the Turbo Diesel has absolutely the best carry percentage of all the Hammer balls yet!  For me, as a lefty, the Turbo is my saviour for those pesky seven pins!  You get the length like the pearl but there is a distinct less over/under play like you would get with the pearl as more games are played.  And the breakpoint, angle of entry to the pocket, gives you the advantage for your maximum carry potential.

In the past two months, I have thrown a 300 with it dull and another 300 with it shined up on two very opposite lane conditions.  When you say versatility, you get the Turbo Diesel in the Hammer line by fine-tuning its coverstock.

NOTHING HITS LIKE A HAMMER!!!

I've heard many great things about the Diesel series, but never was interested until I heard about the release of the Turbo Diesel...I have kept it as OUT OF THE BOX condition because in the past I have messed some of my other equipment...so keeping it like this has done me a lot of justice...the Turbo Diesel clears the heads easily and crushes the pocket just like any Hammer ball I own...this one is really special to me...I certainly recommend it to anybody that is looking for a bowling ball with versatility! The Turbo Diesel is a great product from Hammer!

Hammer Turbo Diesel  Pin drilled at 3 o'clock Half ounce side no finger
Ball was lightly polished to 1500.  

Lanes were fresh oiled tophat at 40 feet Brunswick Pro Anvil Lane Surface

Ball got through the heads with ease and reved up great on the top ends.
Ball hit hard like most of the hammer product out these days.
We have drilled about 60 of these balls for customers with not a lot
of hand They have all done extremely well with them.
This is a great ball for house conditions.
Useing this ball same way on sport patterns tends to lay up in the oil.
For the average league player as good as anything out there in the more expensive range of bowling balls.

I don't know about that, BUT these balls do hit HARD, and the Turbo Diesel is no exception.

Out of the box dull for traction, this ball may be shined up for that extra length if needed.

I put a label leverage 4" x 4" drilling layout on this ball with the pin below the ring finger to get an earlier reaction, with a smooth arcing hook and control.

As a cranker, I found this ball to be too much cover in the light medium to dry lane conditions.  The Turbo Diesel worked well in fresh medium oil, and even better in the heavier oil conditions.

The Turbo Diesel would be a great ball in the hands of a tweener or stroker, for medium to oil conditions.  Crankers beware!  This is an aggressive ball, and may be too much for medium conditions, you may find this ball more useful for the heavier oil.  In addition, the Turbo Diesel would make a great Sport League ball.

Just recieved my 16lb turbo. Its drilled with the pin above the ring finger. I bowled at the same house once with it bone dry and once with it with oil. I play around the 5th and 10th arrow. On the dry lanes it plays really good if you have enough speed. Once I figured that out the ball was striking. A couple of times I believe with any ball it was in the pocket but did not finish. It hooks too much if the lane is burnt out.

On oil, I tried it out and again speed is a factor, It plays good. The ball isnt as forgiving as some of my other equipment. Im still playing with the coverstock, I believe once I get that together im good. When I recieved the ball it had been resurfaced and plugged. I like the hooking power of this ball guys. I never had a hammer ball before and heard great things about this balls and though id give it a shot. It hammer time baby
