The Real Deal

The Real Deal is the most hook in the Hammer product line.  Featuring the new Cut-Throat coverstock and high differential AON core, The Real Deal provides more hook in heavy oil and improved consistency from shot to shot.

Mass Bias at 62 Degrees

Side Weight Drilled back to 7/8 pos. w 21/32 diam and 1" Deep w/ 1 1/4 Right pitch and 9/16 Forward Pitch

Handels the USBC Tournament Shot with ease and can play 15 to 1 and have no worries on coming back to the pocket. It hits very hard but the best thing is it keeps pins very low.

Will have a few more of these drilled but with weaker drillings to handel more house shots.

Its the best ball I think of that hammer has made in years nice job hammer.

I came in 6th place in a no-tap with this ball. This ball hits so nice and clean.  I would recommend this ball to anyone. Thank you Hammer for making a great ball.

Do not misjudge this ball try it out first. You will love it!!

Hi all i purchased my real deal back in december and was in awe at the way this ball gets into such an early roll on even the wettest of conditions.This ball when new used 2 have incredible hooking potential and even better carry.Now the ball is obviously much older but still does have good hook on oily lanes i play more down the boards with it these days but it is so predictable.This ball still carries extremely well and i would still recommend it 2 anyone looking for a good heavy oil ball.By the way u must have oil to use this ball properly.

As a recent addition to the Hammer staff I needed to find a ball for those heavier oil patterns in tournament and in the event of upcoming regionals. I read alot about the Big Deal, Big Blue, and the Razor Blade, but based on the type of look that I wanted the Real Deal appeared to be the right choice. Ive only had the ball for a couple of weeks, but just this past Friday, I was able to see just what this ball could do. The pattern was a 45ft flat pattern. Im not sure of the amount of units down,but every ball came back "juicy". This ball gave me a look that was very strong and consistant in the midlane w/o loosing backend reaction. I used a 4 1/2 by 4 1/2 pin, putting the pin under my ring finger. If your looking for a piece that moves and wont stop pick up the Real Deal.

This ball is unbeievable.  The statistics are perfect for a heavy oil ball, and the ball IS perfect.  It carries like crazy, moves across a lot of boards, but moves consistently and solidly.  This is a powerful ball, even many months after I purchased it.  I apologize for not keeping my technical information, but I didn't want to write another premature review for a ball.  

However, The Real Deal has settled in nicely, and continues to be a hard hitting, heavy oil ball.  The ball picks up a great deal of midlane roll, but saves a ton of energy for the pins.  The aggressive particle coverstock is the perfect compliment to the aggressive core, and you get an agressive ball.  But let me stress, the ball is not about covering a ton of boards and hooking from gutter to gutter, but is a SOLID ball for heavy oil.  Trust me...10 pins are not a problem.  I have never given a review with such support for a ball, but I am now.  Great Ball.

I have been a league bowler for 14 years, 10 of those of which I have averaged more than 200. But never was able to shoot that 1st 300. I have seen many people over the years shoot a perfect game with a lower average (some even less than 190) than me. I got my Real Deal between 2 and 3 years ago and immediately love it as my "A" ball. I bowled more 700's than ever and got my average up to 215. Last summer I was able to tie my highest game at 289 with it, 5-270+ games, 4-260+ games, 5-700 series and at the end of the summer, a 784 series (all with the Real Deal). Something happened this past fall league. I dont know what, maybe I just had too many games on this ball and I over sanded it over time. Whatever it was, I bumped it down to my "C" ball and a few times I did not even bring it to league. It just wasnt hooking like it use to. Over the last 6 weeks with a new oiling machine, the oil would carry down after 6 frames making the backends real slick. I usually always stand on 30, throw at 15 out to 7 for a strike. But with the new oiling machine, it would not come back, so I struggled for weeks and my average was falling. So, 2 weeks ago I decided to play a more up the lane (12 board, standing on 22)outside shot in the 3rd game with my Real Deal (took it out of the bag) and got a 257. This past week, I started the same way and shot my 1st 300 game with my old Real Deal. That ball has carried better than anything I have ever thrown. I would have more 300's with it if my mental game did interfere. I do have to say that with more than 200 games on this ball, it is still a smooth and strong rolling ball that continues to carry the 10 pin. I am a more accurate more confident bowler with my "Real Deal".
