OK, it is a plastic ball with a pancake weight block but it is a very effective piece on burnt lanes that havent seen oil in many days. It glides thru the heads with ease and makes a smooth predictable move to the pocket. It hits very hard for plastic. The Tuff makes practice on less than ideal conditions productive.
For its intended purpose (namely the 10 pin for me), on normal fresh league shots, I stand with my right foot on 28 and roll it straight over 14. The Tuff homes in on the 10 pin like its radar guided.
The 10 is my achilles heel in bowling as it is for many right handers. But with the Tuff, I dont dread leaving a 10 anymore. I am on a current 84% pick-up rate (16 of 19) during the last 3 weeks which is outstanding for me........I personally think the Tuff had alot to do with it.
