The first word that comes to mind to describe the new Hammer Effect is WOW!! The Hammer Effect is absolutely beautiful on the lane and off. It continues off the back end of the pattern and never slows down. It is much more ball than I expected out of a pearl. This ball has the new Hammer Huntsman core (best of the Widow and Vibe cores combined) and HK22 Cohesion pearl shell. With limited games thrown it has impressed me like no other. You can miss right and this ball will still recover and retain its energy and hit with power. The ball is extremely versatile on both oily and medium lane conditions. The hype surrounding this ball is real and worth becoming a major player in your bag.

If you thought the Hammer Black Widow 3.0 or Track Theorem was the best ball of the year… WAIT until you get this In your bag! If you are looking for HOOK and POWER, then this ball is right for you!!! This ball is nothing short of amazing! At 60 x 5 x 30, this ball has length and lots of energy thru the pins! This ball is great out of the box, you can even do a light surface rub with a 3000 or 4000 pad and this ball gets even better!! It’s tournament season and this is a MUST!! Don’t wait! BALL OF THE YEAR!!

The Hammer Effect couples outstanding performance with attractive visual appeal.  I've only thrown this ball a few sessions, but some pieces you can just tell are going to be special and this is one of them.  It's quick off the spot and drives through the pins beautifully.  Overall hook is in the medium range, but this ball seems to hook at the right time to allow predictability and ease of making adjustments.

For me, there are better options on very slick patterns, but for medium volumes and lengths, including house patterns, it matches up well.  I have it laid out at 55 x 5 x 35 and it's become my favorite pearl in my arsenal.

The newly designed core is a perfect fit for this cover, Hammer has created a versatile ball with shape and continuation needed to perform on today's conditions.
