Length: 42

Volume: Medium

Type (THS, Sport Pattern etc): THS

Likes:  Used Dual Layout 45 x 5 x 30 with 2000 Abralon pad.  Rev rate of 350-400, axis tilt is about 45 degrees, and ball speed about 14-15 mph. The ball rolled great through the front part of the lane and nice arching back end reaction

Dislikes: None, it's design for medium to shorter patterns.  Not intended for longer or fresh patterns unless you add surface.  Great addition to your weapons of mass production.  The hitting power is awesome!  Hammer Nation!

Likes:  Fun Fun Fun it what you can use to describe this ball. From the color to the performance.  I was so glad to get this ball in my hand.  The Vibe core with the Black Widow cover.  What else could you ask for?  This ball is so strong when entering the pocket.  I have left more 7,8,9's than 10 pins.   Pin carry is excellent as is with most Hammer balls now days thanks to the Carbon Fiber being added into the balls cover.  I get good length and an easy change in direction.  I have used it on Multiple patterns and in different houses.  The result is the same - Great movement off the spot with no loss on pin action.   I shot a 300 and a 800 the first week using this ball!  League bowlers will love its readiness on most patterns and tournament bowlers will love its availability on transitioned lanes.  Definitely a MUST HAVE!

Dislikes: Heavy Oil......Obviously this ball does not do fantastic on heavier patterns.  There are ball better suited for that in the Hammer lineup.

I purchased the viral in early Feb 2015. I like the smooth skid flip reaction on the house shot. I did try to use this ball on a tournament pattern and it does not like heavy oil. I'm a tweener and it was hard to get it to hook 5 boards. But on a house shot it's a high strike percentage ball. Left some 8 and 9 pins but very few 10 pins so far. Love the ball. No 300's or 800's yet but I'm averaging about 720 the last 4 league nights with it. 755 high and a 702 low. If you can't throw the ball 18 MPH this ball is for you. It's like driving a Cadillac - smooth and effortless power.

Using the popular VIBE core wrapping it with the Violent Flip Reactive Pearl coverstock make the Viral a great choice on medium to dry lanes.  This ball is long and strong with an awesome, eye catching silver color!
