Roger, I always like the NM's I had before.  The one thing that impresses me the most about the NM is the carry.  This ball really carry's great.

Chitown does your new No Mercy have 5.5 pin to pap drilling on it? If not how do you have it drilled? I have one with the number 6 drilling on it and it was working good up to a couple of weeks ago. I think its dieing out. I would like to try one with the number one drill on it. Give me your thoughts.

I had a NM with a strong pin placement of 4" from my pap.  This ball was way too strong in the mid-lane to be of much use for my game.  I didn't like the reaction I got from it.  Of course I probably didn't give it much of a chance before I traded that one in.

I also had the #6 layout on another NM and it rolled awesome.  I also had a pin high above the ring finger(kind of a trick layout) and this ball was really long and very strong on the back end.  More of a condition specific ball with this layout.  I ended up getting rid of all my NM's over the summer.

For this new NM, I decided to place the pin above the ring finger which is about 5" from my pap.  There's only about 1/2" to 3/4" difference from the #6 layout which places the pin above the bridge for me.  I have not noticed much difference on the lanes between this NM and my #6 drilled one.  However, i've only got about 7 games on this new NM.

This particular ball should not have the pin any closer than 4" from a bowlers pap.  This ball creates a lot of flare and if drilled too strong, will burn up and not give much on the back end.  This is where a lot of bowlers made mistakes with this ball.  Make sure it's drilled based on your pap.

Not sure yet.  I'm pretty happy with my current arsenal.  My arsenal is only like 3 weeks old except for my urethane ball.

If I do get another ball it won't be until after the Holidays.
