has anyone changed the box finish from 4000 to 2000.....if so what kind of reaction did you get and did you like it.....thanks

I did. It took away a little backend (more like smoothed it out) and it read the lane a bit sooner. I Cant go any lower than that because it just reads too soon. I ended up putting it back to 4000

I brought mine all the way down to 1000, and actually I like it better. Don't get me wrong, I loved the surprising almost skid-snappy reaction I got at 4000, but it was so close to some of my other stuff that way, that I changed it. smoothed it out quite a bit, makes it start up quicker, hook more overall...but still hits like a truck.

p.s.-i think the only reason i'm able to get away with 1000 w/o it burning up on me, is b/c i have the pin above my bridge/middle finger, hart to the left of my thumb.
