Hammer Big Blue Pearl, anybody have personal experience?

So I've got a NIB Big Blue Pearl sitting here, and I'm thinking it's about time to get it drilled. I bought it as a "collectible" because I've never seen any others around NIB, but I've found that while it may be worth a little bit to the right person, I think I'd rather just use it myself!

So, with that being said, how should I drill it?! I'm medium speed (16-17mph), medium revs (somewhere between 350-450), normal track (PAP is like 5 1/4" right, 1/4" up).

I know you can drill a ball to do anything you like, but what would be the best type of drilling to take advantage of what the ball was intended for? To accentuate it's features? Is this a ball that's meant to go long and strong, or should I try to get it rolling early? Honestly, it will be used on a medium oil THS. I appreciate any and all inputs!

I had the BBP back when I was throwing all Hammer stuff. It's a pretty good piece, and it should be more than adequate for a THS. Being a particle pearl, it's natural tendency will be to pick up a little bit earlier than most other pearlized balls, and it will be a bit smoother off the spot. Also, because of the pearl, they are sometimes a bit better when encountering carrydown. As you said, I wouldn't expect anything amazing or drastically different from what you've seen from most of your other gear. I would just pick your favorite layout and let her rip.

Very smooth ball, I loved it!  Lil weaker than a black widow pearl!

Ball was amzing thew both mine till i couldnt resurfac no more. Bout 500 games a piece. Give ya 250 for it if it a 15 with good specs

Thanks for the input guys! RevLefty, it is a 15 with good soecs but I think I'm gonna punch this one for me. Idk why, I obsessed over finding one, and when I found one, I never drilled it, just kept it. But I think I'll get more enjoyment from using it than from selling it lol.
