A ball like the Hot Sauce Pearl?
« on: January 25, 2011, 08:08:29 PM »
Is there a ball out right now that would be close to what the Hot Sauce was? Can be from any company. Thanks.

I think you could go with the Taboo, but the Hot Sauce Pearl was cleaner through the fronts than the Taboo at box surface.... I drilled a Taboo with the same layout as I have on my HSP and hit the surface at 4000 Abralon & Factory Finish polish, and the Taboo is close, with a touch of more in the midlanes than the HSP.

You might be able to find a HSP at some bowling distributors or on eBay... that ball was one of my favorites in the Hammer line. Good luck!

a friend of mine is looking for a reaction similar to his HSP, but for more oil, so i am going to suggest the Taboo as well.  when there is a little more oil, especially downlane, he wants ball to read, when the HSP is going too long and not recovering.
