Hey everyone,
Alright, right off the bat I know there are some newer offerings that might fit into some of these slots better, but these are the balls that I have or have the chance to get. Here's what they are and the slots I was thinking of using them in:
Flood-Blade Particle or Sharp Blade
Heavy-Blade Particle or Sharp Blade
Med-Heavy-Blade Solid Reactive (Polished)
Med (even) Switch Blade
Med (skid-snap) The Deal
Med-Light-Blade Pearl
Burnt-Spares-Target Zone (I'll have to trade that for a Big Blue Spare : )
I already have the Solid Reactive and the Pearl Reactive, so I know that those two work in the slots that I have listed. The Sharp Blade should be there when I get home today, while the Blade Particle, Deal and Switch I hope to acquire in trade. Let me know if you would swap spots for any that I have listed, or how you would set them up and/or prep them. I have an ultra high backswing, above average revs and speed. Any help you Hammer heads can give is appreciated.

I can't bowl 300, but I can bench 315 : )

Gene, I would probably put the Real Deal in there, either in the Flood or Heavy section, that ball is just too good to leave out of an all-Hammer arsenal.

Gene,
Another for the Medium Heavy is a new addition
to my arsenal, the Saw Blade, pearl particle and
strong backend, very tuneable

And what do you throw on lanes that aren't flooded or fried?

Real Deal=Heavy
Big Block Diesel=Medium/Heavy
Big Blue Pearl=Medium Some Carry Down
Switch Blade=Medium Fresh Backends
Pure Hammmer=Lighter/Dry
Big Blue Spare
I think this would be a good basic arsenal with good coverage and using some of their newer more popular releases. You could throw a Saw Blade in their for the BB Pearl or the Switch Blade also. Also could put a Deal in for med/light with good backends.

I should just quit bowling, oh wait I already tried that.
Now that I am back and my Saws are sharp again, I am ready to cut some wood.
-
Gene- if you are going to invest any money at all in your Hammer arsenal, then the Real Deal is MUST.
This will cover your flood/heavy situation.
Ideally, I would probably change all of your selections, but I will try to work with some of what you have provided.
REAL DEAL
Power Diesel
Blade Solid
Switch Blade
Sharp Blade- polished
Blade Pearl- High Polish
BB spare
Out of the current line up, here is what I would do if you had unlimited funds.
REAL DEAL
REAL DEAL
Saw Blade
Big Blue
Blade Solid
Switch Blade
PURE
Big Blue Spare
Yes I believe that the new CUT throat cover is THAT good!!!
We'll see how the new BIG DEAL works.

Flood-Blade Particle or Sharp Blade
Those 2 balls will never work for a flooded conditions. Get the Real Deal (like eveyone else has stated) for flooded conditions and also the old Vicious particle is a good ball for oil.
everything else looks acceptable..

If they only made a ball that would carry that da_n 7 pin (and I am right handed!!)

I agree with jkiser01 on the Blade Particle not being a flood ball. The Diesel Particle is a much more powerful ball than the Blade Particle is and its not a flood ball either. I have a SCB for floods that I got before the Real Deal came out.......

Could someone tell me where this Great Wall of China is???

For my style the Blade Particle is my big oil ball because the Real Deal is too much Diff and is just too much ball even on a 41ft shot that I've tried it on. But for the average RPM/Speed player I'd reccommend this for a six ball arsenal
Heavy: Real Deal or Big Blue
Med/Heavy & Carrydown: Sharp Blade or Big Block Diesel or Saw Blade
Medium(Flip/Strong Arc): Deal or Saw Blade or Big Blue Pearl
Medium (Control): Pure Hammer or Blade Reactive
Medium/Light (Transition): Sling Blade or Blade Pearl(if you find one lol)
Light/Dry: Red Pearl Urethane, older Urethane Hammers(polished from bowlingball.com)

DP- On the REAL DEAL- how stong did you lay this ball out? This makes a HUGE difference on this ball. I have one and I plan on getting more. I throw it 17.5 mph and have 16-18 revs. This ball will work for ANYONE! It just has to be mapped correctly. I have thrown it dull and shiny. Works well both ways....and I never see 41ft of oil.

I threw the demo day ball which for me transferrs to a 3 5/8 x 3 3/4, strong mass bias after this hooked at 30 feet in the oil before the transfer to the buff area I got about 8 boards right of target just to continually come through the beak. Then just for kicks I tried a staffer's ball that had the pin high over the ring finger, C.G kicked 2 inches from the palm which was like a 4 3/4 x 2 for me with the weighthole past my PAP. This one pushed a bit better but was more pronounced off of the transition and was still too much ball for the pattern. Granted it's a lighter volume of oil, but the length was still long and the ball just tore through the condition. On the north east coast there just isn't enough oil anywhere for this ball, especially since the heads deplete so fast everywhere.
I'd also like to mention the Switch Blade with a 5 inch pin to PAP placement for a great ball on lighter conditions when you still need the kickback in the backend. Pics of my Hammer arsenal can be found at http://umbcbowl.tripod.com/pics

DP- Just what I suspected. Those balls were drilled WAY too STRONG.
Brian Graham informed me that the REAL DEAL should be drilled at least a minimum of 4.5" PIN to PAP, and to not drill it with the LMB in the strong position. The core and cover is so strong that these layouts will only complicate things. Weak pins + Weak CGs + the REAL DEAL= An awesome ball.
Mine is drilled 5.5"Pin to PAP, with a 90* layout. Which puts the LMB left of my thumb hole with the pin above the bridge. I am rt handed. This will even the reaction out, but the ball will still handle any amt of oil.
NOTE: this ball does need head oil. Also this ball can be polished and used on most house patterns.

heavy oil Real Deal, big blue
Med heavy Vicious attack/big blue
Med Big blue peal,switch blade
med light Big blue pearl, sling blade
light Sling blade,pure hammer
toast Big blue spare, sling blade
--------------------
I have a few hammers and know how to nail the pocket with them!
-
My current All-Hammer arsenal consists ot the following-
Heavy- Diesel Particle; Power Diesel
Med/heavy- Big Block Diesel; Black Hammer 2001
Medium-Hi-Rev (yes, the Faball one)
Med/light- Green Gargoyle
Light/dry- Still looking (for light-oil lanes, not a ball!)
Ok, the Gargoyle isn't TECHNICALLY a Hammer, but it shares the same bloodlines.
Plus, it's such a good ball I am proud to list it with the above! Have a mint condition Crimson Sledge not sure what I'm gonna do with yet also...

Gene,
Get The Real Deal for your heavy oil/flood ball. i just got it and it's amazing, since I play with a lot of speed at it hangs on to the lane. I would definitely get the High Rev to take care of the medium heavy to medium conditions.
