He's a pro he can make any ball look good. However, the Gauntlet is a darn good ball. I'm already looking to stock up on as many as I can!

PS go watch a pro golf tournament and watch the pros that are going to miss the cut!  They often look like Crap!  Those days!

I lucked up and got a Gauntlet early and I have a lot of the newer equipment that's coming out and by far the Gauntlet is the real deal it out hooks them all

Yeah...I lucked out as well. TWICE loved it so much OOB I bought a second one and shined it up so I could use them all night!

My point being the bowling pros often look like crap when they miss the cut too! 

Don't like golf? You must only watch on Tv.

When you go to a tournament and see the bombs/home runs those athletes hit is Exciting!

That is all relative to specific bowler.

If you read reviews on Gauntlet it does out hook the Scandal. But as I said it depends on bowler, drill, surface, etc.

I feel like they're skewing the numbers. The Scandal and the Gauntlet use the same coverstock and they gave the Scandal a higher rating for cover. I'm also finding it hard to believe that the Scandal symmetrical core is stronger than that asym in the Gauntlet. Anyone seen video footage of a comparison?

The Gauntlet uses a Hybrid version of the Scandal cover. While solid tends to out hook Hybrid the core differences gives the Gauntlet the edge.

I am a two handed bowler so thats probably why. To me (I have the Gauntlet) the Gauntlet need some type of friction as the Scandal does not(I bowl on Long heavy oil house shot).
