Anyone tried polishing this ball up, and having some success? what would be the effect on the ball?

On my Sauce, when still alive, I polished it with the Secret Sauce over 600 abralon, and it made the ball get greater length and actually make it smoother (for me).

smoother? doesn't it make it longer and more angular?? so, is it better to just dull it?

I have a SAUCE drilled pin in palm, cg kicked left (lefty).
I bought the ball used, plugged the fingers and kept the layout.

Don't know what the cover was...
it didn't work for me.

I took the cover down to 600 grit ab, put some Special Sauce on the ball, and it worked well...went long and hooked 10 boards...Which is not what I wanted.

I just took the cover down to 400 (Lanemaster Maroon pad) w/o polish

I'll report back when I find enough oil to roll it.
