Hammer Sauce... Wow!
« on: November 08, 2008, 06:41:04 AM »
Hey everyone, I just drilled up my Sauce this past Wednesday and finally got it's almost 3 game on it today! First off, here's a pic of the layout (3 1/2" pin to PAP for me)

http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c288/TheOne9110/Saucey.jpg

The first day I threw this ball, I wasn't even sure what I was bowling on. The shot definitely had a good amount of oil on it, but probably broken down a little bit. Anyways, the Sauce got through the heads pretty easy, and literally looked like it stood up on the lane. It gets off the spot very fast, but not flippy, just a huge arc. I'd say this ball is best suited for heavy patterns or patterns with a good enough amount of head oil with a lot of carrydown. I've thrown it 2 days with a total of less than 3 games on it, that's how much I CAN'T use it lol. The hit is awesome of course, too.

Thanks for reading!

PS: the colors on mine are sweet!

With the CG way down near the thumb, does that give it longer distance?

Teamate of mine just drilled one. He normally throws a NVS drilled pin under the bridge. His Sauce is drilled a bit stronger, pin under ring with a slight swing of the cg. It gives him easily 2 boards more room left (he's lefty) than the NVS does. Ball REALLY opens up the lane for him. He used to worry about losing shots sent left, it can be a bit of an OB, but not anymore.

So, it appears that this ball is a good oiler.....

I'm debating on whether to buy one of these, then polish up my Bite for the more broken down shot, or to pick up a Cell Pearl.  I really don't have an aggressive pearl in my bag, and I don't think a polished Bite will have that type of back end move.

This ball has a low mass bias rating, symmetrical core, where the mass bias doesn't play such a huge part in the reaction. Even with the "virtual" mass bias to the left of my thumb, it doesn't even show a difference. This ball is an absolute monster.

I haven't altered my surface of mine yet, haven't needed to. I wonder what it's like polished up or dulled down. Anyone experiment yet?

I have added Rough Buff and it has helped with the burn when I wanted to swing it a bit wider.

When a house bowler misses the mark, misses the break point and strike, for many ppl its called a wallshot. When a pro does that its call adjustment

When a house bowler gets his finger stuck in the ball and fall on the lanes, for many ppl its called lame bowler. When a pro does that its called the Machuga flop! ha i like this one.
