Arson Pearl as a replacement for Hot Sauce Pearl?
« on: October 13, 2012, 02:05:53 PM »
I love my Hot Sauce Pearl, and I was considering the Arson Pearl to replace it. The specs look similar to me, but I'm not sure.
Has anyone thrown both balls? What do you think?

A friend of mine who's a hammer staffer said that he couldnt wait for this ball to be released as he shot incredible scores with his hot sauce. After drilling i could see that the motion was extremely close. I think the A.P. was slightly weaker than the hot sauce but he told me he liked the reaction and i watched him reel of 14 straight in practice so I'm going to go out on a limb to say he enjoys throwing it. The only problem he has is staff obligation to some degree and lack of oil. At the time he got his and really starting throwing it, they sent him "the purple ball with no logos" later named the deep purple taboo and our house started putting out less oil.
With that said, the numbers are really close and i would say its slightly weaker but just slightly. I think it would be a great replacement.

No problem. I'm sure other people who've actually thrown both will chime in. This is just my assessment from watching my buddy.

I would say that the Arson Pearl is exactly like the HSP. I was soooo excited to hear this ball was to be released as I LOVED the HSP like you do. The Arson Pearl is a touch longer in the fronts for me, and creates angle in he backends like the HSP did.

Drill this ball up with your favorite layout & you will be happy!
