Although I dont believe he is an Ebonite staff member but didn't Mike Edwards throw a Puma last week? Pretty certtain that ball isn't in their current lineup. He seemed to have a better look with the Puma than the over reacting Angular One that seemed to go left as soon as it came off his hand.

I think objective number one for any staff member is to win.  Objective number two is to showcase the "latest and greatest" ball in the line.  Just about all the upper echelon pros have used older equipment on TV at one point or another.  Brand recognition is more important that a particular product, and you get brand recongnition by winning.

Dan your right.  A few years ago the pro's were using the mid-priced stuff a lot more.  Now they seem to have great results from the top shelf balls.

I know the Black Widow and No Mercy are very good bowling balls.  I bet you will see these on TV a lot this season.

he wears a no mercy shirt but struggles with a widow on the show.I was expecting to see the no mercy on this shot but no.this is why I say the widow is not a good choice for long patterns.I found this out a long time ago.I feel Kent maid a big mistake in ball selection, the widow got him there but just simply was the wrong choice.
