I drilled the wife a Raid about 2 months ago. She told me today that she wants something that hooks more than that. Which is good, b/c once she gets something new I'll be out of the dog house when it comes to equipment purchases for myself.
Current arsenal:
Track Animal
--2 1/2 pin to pap
--mb on or slightly past the val

Raid
--4 3/4 pin to pap, pin below bridge
--mb about 1 1/2" right of thumb
Original Inferno
--4 3/4 pin to pap, pin above bridge
--OOB
Absolute Inferno
--5 1/4" pin to pap, pin above middle finger
--2000 plus high gloss
Mercury
--5" pin to pap, pin up
--OOB finish
She doesn't use the Mercury at all. I can't remember the last time she saw a condition for it. I don't think that ball has 50 games on it. She likes the Absolute better.
She says the Raid has lost some hooking action, according to her she has been forced to move 4/5 boards right from when it was new. I knocked the shine off and put it at 4000, which could have made a slight difference. But, it still makes a good move and hits good, so I don't know.
I asked, "more overall hook or more backend?". To which I got "I don't know". So, I'm thinking an Anger or BW Bite. I guess I'll have to wait for clarification to "more hook", but those are the two I'm leaning towards.
