Best skid snap Hammer
« on: February 23, 2004, 05:03:54 AM »

Which of the Hammer balls has the best skid snap reaction for a slow ball speed and on a medium condition?

How does the new Big Blue Pearl react?

Any help would be appreciated.

Best skid/snap Hammer ball in my bag in the Vicious Reactive Pearl.  No doubt about when it makes its move.  My only fear in recommending the Vicious Particle Pearl is that it really does seem to quit on the backend once you get even hint of carrydown.  On fresh conditions, it is really good.  But once you start seeing the weak corners, it is time to put it away.  Scott

For me the Big Blue Pearl was a VERY strong arc motion at the break point. At the Hammer Demo Days for me the Turbo Diesel was the snapest of all the current Hammer ball.  My B.B.Pearl is 4.5 x 5.5(over the label) for me this drill makes the ball be very strong at the break point.  My ball speed is very high, 18 to 19 MPH, and the B.B. Pearl for me turns the corner very well. Maybe with your speed "thedjs" it will will be more angular than the Vicious Particle Pearl.
