Big Blue Pearl. Anymore plans for Gasmask core?
« on: November 11, 2004, 08:06:46 AM »
I've been throwing this ball off and on the past couple of months.  Some with my normal release(17.8mph off the hand, 300 rpms) and a two handed release(19 off the hand, 520rpms).  It is drilled with the pin over the middle finger, C.G 1 inch below the midline in th ecenter of grip, and HMB right next to the thumb.

I cannot believe how adaptable and versatile this ball is on many different surfaces, lane conditions, and release/speed adjustments. It gives control and strong hook on the backend without giving up the midlane read of pearl particle.  The hitting power it great from many different angles and the backend continuation is so smooth, it really is unlike any ball I've ever used.  I've been using this side by side with a Tour Power(low R.G Low Diff) and the Big Blue Pearl is almost like what would happen if they ever made a Pearl Tour Power.  I love this ball.  Are there going to be any future releases with the Gasmask Core?  I think a Weaker Pearl Reactice shell with this would be great on drier conditions when the Sling Blade is too much and the Pure Hammer is too early.  A weak cover with this Low diff core would be awesome.

Yea I completely agree with what you said. I've had my BBp since July and absolutely love. It's always first out of the bag and the staffer in the area has drilled up 4 and loves them all.

Would love to see it with the cover from the Vicious Reactive Pearl.

I agree.  The ball is very good.

I would like to see the Vicious Reactive Pearl cover on the gas mask as well.

Hell, I'd take just about anything with that cover.

I bought a BBP USED from a BR member .. at the time I bought it .. I was just interested in TRYING it! I am truly surprised with this ball .. not smart enough to know if it's the cover or the core .. but I can tell you this ball performs outstanding! Once you find a line .. you are set for the night. I usually take two balls to league .. since I have the BBP .. change is NOT necessary. EXCELLENT ball!
