I just got back from the Hammer demo day in Branson Missouri
Man what a blast that was. The Hammer guys and the bowling ally manager where fantastic. They were well organized and knew what they were talking about.
I tried out 6 different balls and bowled them for hours.
If any of you out there get a chance to go to one of the demo days do it
its well worth the time. It took me 3 1/2 hrs to get there and I was not dissapointed.
I bowled the sling & sharp blade, big blue & big blue pearl, turbo & power deisel.
to me the power deisel was awsome and Im sure that I'll be getting one soon.

I played the pearl on the heavier oil patterns they had lay out on several of the lanes.
For this ball rolled really well from the start and I was able to play a fairly strait shot. It seemed like I didnt even need to throw any kind of a hook it just went to the pocket real nice.
Now the Hammer guys were able to play this any kind of way they wanted. I saw big hooks both left & right handed and just about any way they wanted to throw it. They were impressive. Me I couldnt even come close to throwing the pearl that way, I tried.
I would have to say that the pearl would be a great ball for all styles of bowlers on med oil lanes and if you throw a big hook then you could probly play in hevier oil conditions
But for me its got to be the power deisel
