Big Deal vs. Real Deal
« on: February 28, 2005, 06:20:07 AM »
I am trying to determine which of these balls is better for what I'm
looking for...

My Profile:
Righty,  Stroker/Tweener... 15-16 mph, high track right next to fingers
and thumb (PAP 5 1/2 over 1/4 up.  Like to go down and in).

My main arsenal is my V2 Particle (rev leverage drilling), Detour (label 4x5ish), Depth Charge (rev leverage).  These cover the oil volumes pretty well in my area, then have some weaker equipment to go to if needed.

I run into some problems with carry at a couple houses that have a bit
more oil and I don't match up with the track shot.  I'm looking for a
more aggressive ball to move into the oil with when needed.  My V2
Particle  doesn't have the guts to move in the oil at times, especially on the backend.  My style does limit me a bit, but I'm not afraid
to move into 3rd or 4th arrow when the condition warrants, I just need
to find a ball that will react more on some heavier conditions and have
good backend.

The Real Deal and Big Deal both intrigue me, but I'm not sure which would be best for my style.  Any opinions or comparisons with similar drillings on these two?

Thanks...

I'm wondering if Hammer is going to add another ball to the Deal line at this year's Bowl Expo 2005?  I ask because I wonder if I should wait till the end of the Expo to either buy the Big Deal or the new release.  I want the Big Deal, but if there is a better ball coming out, I would like to have first dibs on that.
