is one sexy ball  I finally got one after waiting for the 16lbers on backorder.  Hopefully will get a chance to throw it tonight.  But I hope they continue the line with other dark colored balls.  Much easier to read.

Let us know what this "sexy beast" does on the lanes when you get a chance to chuck the bad boy tonight. Since you used the word "sexy," you have to use it in your initial review =)

Will do Tarksie & Hutch.  I saw a few at the Forrest Hills, MD regional a few weeks ago and was impressed with it.  It looks really sexy polished with the label darkened

Chappy sure did impress the hell out of me with the Widow tonight.  The way this ball really dug into the lane as it came around the corner and through the deck was amazing.  I only wish I could throw it as good, it definately looks like that Big Benchmark piece that anyone could use.  I expect to see alot of them this fall in leagues and tournaments(oh yeah, and maybe on TV ).

I must agree with DP3, I saw Chappy throw this ball and oh BABY!!! This monster is so aggressive but yet sooo smooth. This should definately turn some heads towards Hammer, it sure turned mine. Achappy needs to post vids, this man is the realest!!!!

Chappy need to go get a PAIN and stop playin around! lol He put down that ROTO SH... I mean GRIP for a reason! But on the real the widow is a beast and a rack ripper at that!

They're right.  When this ball bites (pun intended) and decides to change direction, it doesn't stop.  It was slightly too much surface but I wanted to try it anyway (also an experiment with no inserts).  Even with box, it didn't burn up and the recovery and continuation was pretty impressive.  Unforunately, I was chasing the oil all night.  Something I rarely do in this house.  Definately a ball to open up the lane.

I'll be trying it polished this weekend as I'm sure it'll be a better matchup for me.

Nice initial review. What happened to the word "sexy" in that review? Just kidding. All jokes aside. You said you were able to chase the oil line all night. I am guessing that you got in pretty deep with it and fed it out to the dry. I know you have a ton of hand, but were similar players with about the same revrate playing with tigher angles with different balls or were they also chasing the oil in like you? What were the lanes like? Seems like a sexy beast!

How's this ball on somewhat dry lanes? I throw a triple x now and on the house shot sometimes I struggle to get the ball down the lane. I was hoping this ball would be for me since it's supposed to go longer.

Mike&Tarts...The problem was that I HAD to chase the oil line and the moves I had to make were more severe than normal.  The shot is your typical blended house shot on Brunswick Anvilanes (I believe).  Very easy.  I was averaging 240 for 33 games using mostly a Horizon (first game and a half ) and a Classic Zone.  Lane changes weren't that severe and usually 3-4 boards the entire night were sufficient and when they did change the misses were less penal (i.e 4 pin, 9 pin, etc).  Not last night. I seemed to be the only one that had such drastic reactions to the lane changes.  double, 3-6-10, move 2 left, double, beak, move 2 more left etc. It was really sensitive to friction changes but I contribute that to the surface.  Lastly, it was extremely hot in the center so take these initial reactions with a grain of salt.

P.S.  The one shot where I was standing about 36 and got the ball out to about 5 and it just wheel back over the 8 pin and looked like it stopped at the 7 pin...that was sexy
