Title: Black Widow
Post by: strikestriketapped on December 16, 2006, 02:05:55 PM: It's at 4000 (box), but it just doesn't hook enough. What should I put the grit at to get more hook?

Post by: Wallshot on December 16, 2006, 10:27:52 PM: Take it down to 2000 Abralon and so forth until you get the desired reaction. I have one OOB and the other at 2000. At 2000 it smooths out the snap but it can handle carrydown much better.

Post by: Medichal on December 17, 2006, 01:11:03 PM: I have my bw at oob with the pin right obove my ring finger. The mass bias is set up at 75 degrees with this agressive drilling. My bw gets down the lane and makes a hard arc even with good carry down with know promblem crushing the pins. Adjusting the coverstock will make the ball hook earlier but if the ball isn't drilled strong the ball will hit weak.Also I have mine also polished with FinesseII and the bw still hits very hard with oil carry down.

Post by: Xfest on December 18, 2006, 06:45:57 PM: All I did when I recieved the ball before drilling was slap some polish on and after every 10 games, I apply the polish again, and I love the ball reaction I am getting with it.
